These Deck Joist Shoes are suitable for 100mm – 125mm timber.
The Hanging bracket for wooden joists can be used for decking, timber to timber or timber to masonry/concrete.
These Joist Shoes are pre-galvanised and is made from a heavier gauge metal than a standard joist hanger. They also do not have long ears for folding over the top of the joist, unlike most internal type of joist hangers. The hangers are predrilled, ready for fixing by either woodscrews or bolts.
The hanger is manufactured to fit 50mm wide joists in two sizes, 150mm and 100mm deep, to match the most common joist sizes used for decking frameworks.
Joist hangers are particularly helpful when building a decking frame when the deck is close to a solid object like a wall.
